As the name suggests, Vitamin C 1000 contains 1000 mg L-ascorbic acid, that is Vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system during or after intense exercise. In addition, Vitamin C contributes to the normal generation of collagen, and through this is contributes to maintaining the healthy state and functioning of the bones, cartilages, gums, skin and teeth, and it also contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative stress.

In addition to ascorbic acid the product contains other useful active ingredients such as rosehip and elderflower extract that are known to have an extremely high vitamin C content. In 100 g product elderflower and rosehip adds 36 mg and 426 mg to the Vitamin C content, respectively. (The Vitamin C content of peppers is 242.5 mg/100 g).

In order to boost its active substance content we added lemon peel powder to the product, which contains precious bioflavonoids.
